TO ROW THE ATLANTIC AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE, ULTIMATELY LOOKING TO WIN THE WHISKY ATLANTIC CHALLENGE WHILST RAISING AWARENESS AND MONEY FOR TWO INFINITELY IMPORTANT AND UNDER RESOURCED CAUSES.

IN PRINCIPLE THE MISSION IS SIMPLE.

Standing on the shoulders of giants has long been a metaphor for the support we all need to achieve great things. Our team name recognises that our success is reliant on the support of others and the achievements of those who have gone before. It also reflects the way our two great charities support others to conquer their own challenges every day.

Pursuing Independent Paths (PiP) support adults with learning disabilities to achieve their potential focussing on promoting choice, participation and independence. The My Name’5 Doddie foundation aims to make a difference to the lives of those coping and battling with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) through funding research into its causes and potential cures. They also make grants to MND sufferers to enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.

The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is the world’s toughest rowing race. This is an opportunity to be part of a life changing campaign, not just for those of us who will complete the row, but, through the sponsorship money raised, for those who are not fortunate enough to be able to.
